Work Zone Traffic Control Unit V8 Barmenu () '05 

Overview

The Work Zone Traffic Control Unit V8 Barmenu was designed with the user in mind. It is a package 
that facilitates plans preparation incorporating the CADD Standards, Cell Libraries, Notes etc. The 
Barmenu itself is an mdl application driven by a ASCII file called a Menu Definition File 
(i.e., traffic.mdf). These files are located in a central location on our server. The barmenu allows 
user defined variables for path locations in the "mdf". Therefore it is no longer necessary to hard 
code paths to specific locations. Instead configuration environment variables can be established for 
use by the "mdf" file. 

Useful applications that are not available in MicroStation have been included in the barmenu. 
Most of the standard MicroStation commands have not been included except for those that are more 
easily accessible to the user via the barmenu. 

Operation

The Barmenu is presently setup to load automatically upon entering Microstation. If for some reason 
the menu closed during your session within Microstation it may be invoked by either of two (2) ways 
while in Microstation.
(1) Simply keyin "mdl l barmenu" within the Microstation command prompt. 
(2) Select the MENU button located on the TCP toolbox or pallette.
