- Quick Text Edit -


Description:

When you install this application, the following items are added to the interface:

In the Edit Text tool settings window -- the Quick Edit option.
In the Text Editor window -- a right-click menu containing the options Copy, Cut, Paste, and Select All.

If the Quick Edit option is on, selecting a text element automatically opens the Text Editor window with the selected text highlighted. After making changes to the text, a data point accepts the changes. Each subsequent text element you select in the design automatically replaces the last one in the Text Editor window.



To edit text using Quick Text Edit:

1. Select the Edit Text tool.
2. Turn on Quick Edit.
3. Identify a text element.
   The Text Editor window automatically opens, with the selected text highlighted.
4. Edit the text as desired.
5. To accept the changes:
   enter a data point in a view
   or
   click the Apply button
   or
   select another text element.


Tip: This tool is especially useful for editing short text labels (like numbers or flags).
