STIP Viewer Report: Map Table NCDOT STIP The N.C. Department of Transportation's long-range transportation plan – called the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) – identifies the construction funding and schedule for state transportation projects over a 10-year period. NCDOT updates the STIP approximately every two years. The data-driven process to update the STIP is called Strategic Prioritization. For more information, visit NCDOT’s STIP web site. Map Table STIP Viewer is a map-based, publicly accessible web application designed for searching and viewing STIP project information. It shares the STIP Manager database. STIP projects can be queried using one or a combination of the following filters: County, Route/Facility, Division, MPO/RPO, and STIP ID. STIP Viewer also includes the ability to view both the Comprehensive Active STIP report and the Comprehensive Board Approved STIP report. After executing a query, the resulting STIP projects are displayed in the map and a table appears below the map. The table lists the query’s STIP projects and provides general project and funding information.
