STIP Viewer Report: Comprehensive STIP NCDOT STIP The N.C. Department of Transportation's long-range transportation plan – called the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) – identifies the construction funding and schedule for state transportation projects over a 10-year period. NCDOT updates the STIP approximately every two years. The data-driven process to update the STIP is called Strategic Prioritization. For more information, visit NCDOT’s STIP web site. Comprehensive STIP STIP Viewer is a map-based, publicly accessible web application designed for searching and viewing STIP project information. It shares the STIP Manager database. STIP projects can be queried using one or a combination of the following filters: County, Route/Facility, Division, MPO/RPO, and STIP ID. STIP Viewer also includes the ability to view both the Comprehensive Active STIP report and the Comprehensive Board Approved STIP report. The Comprehensive STIP report provides a detailed view of general and funding information for projects in the STIP. Content in this report is from approved and published data in the Active STIP. Funding data is presented across the 10-year STIP window. The report includes Work Phase, Fund Source, STI Funded Category. And Related Project information. Projects are grouped and sorted by County, Mode, and STIP ID.
