STIP Manager Report: Project Comparison (Simple) NCDOT STIP The N.C. Department of Transportation's long-range transportation plan – called the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) – identifies the construction funding and schedule for state transportation projects over a 10-year period. NCDOT updates the STIP approximately every two years. The data-driven process to update the STIP is called Strategic Prioritization. For more information, visit NCDOT’s STIP web site. Project Comparison (Simple) STIP Manager provides the user with a web-based interface to view, enter, and edit data associated with the NCDOT Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Modules are included to allow users to add and manage projects, input funding information, and to process STIP revisions through an automated workflow. Additional reporting and analysis features are included. The Project Comparison (Simple) report allows the user to compare the differences in projects between two STIPs. Summary information about each project is included in the report with differences highlighted. This report does not include a funding table for each project like the Standard version does. Once a STIP and Revision is selected to compare, Statewide, Division, County, and MPO/RPO filters are available as report configuration options. Projects are grouped and sorted by Division, County, Mode, and STIP ID.
