STIP Manager Report: Advanced Reports NCDOT STIP The N.C. Department of Transportation's long-range transportation plan – called the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) – identifies the construction funding and schedule for state transportation projects over a 10-year period. NCDOT updates the STIP approximately every two years. The data-driven process to update the STIP is called Strategic Prioritization. For more information, visit NCDOT’s STIP web site. Advanced Reports STIP Manager provides the user with a web-based interface to view, enter, and edit data associated with the NCDOT Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Modules are included to allow users to add and manage projects, input funding information, and to process STIP revisions through an automated workflow. Additional reporting and analysis features are included. Advanced Reports are configured with a query builder interface and display results with data from the STIP Manager database. Basic STIP Projects and STIP Funding information can be added to the report without constructing a query. Queries are created with numerous filter criteria that include Categories, Items, logical operators and values. Individual database columns can also be selected for inclusion in the report. The queries can grow in complexity with additional rows of criteria joined to configure a very specific report output.
